Yes George , what I was writing –
We have reached Gulmarg this morning .
And , Gulmarg is one urdu word , gul means flower and marg means garden ; Gulmarg means garden or land of flowers .
But , George , we have not found flowers here .
Rather , Shrinagar is filled with flowers , mainly roses – of different colours , different sizes .
The shikaras are selling roses , the gardens are in full bloom .
But , Gulmarg is colder than shrinagar .
We got some horses out of the hotel .
We took those for a long ride .
And , returning , I was waiting to write .
The photographs with the letter is of Gulmarg .
